The term library 2.0 describes concepts revolving around developing/delivering current technology to library patrons. I found the perspectives at http://www.oclc.org/nextspace/002/1.htm a little dry and boring, but one did make a couple of interesting points. The post entitled "To Better Bibliographic Services" (http://www.oclc.org/nextspace/002/5.htm) wrote about using the 2.0 technology to present information differently, such as using RSS feeds. I thought this was a really interesting idea, imagine patrons being able to subscribe to feeds about upcoming library events or even a monthly one containing new books. The article also mentioned the possibility of the public submitting reviews/comments about new books, a great idea for people always on the lookout for a new title or author.
